I believe it would be safe to say that being in a relationship with a Narcissist is the equivalent of being captured.  The worse part about it is the level of deception that comes along with it leaving you unaware that captivity has taken place.  I can still remember the shock factor I felt once I realized that the relationship with the Narcissist was a lie.  It was a skillful and demonically crafted illusion for entrapment…period.

The Word of God tells us in 1 John 3:8, For this reason was the Son of God made manifest that He would destroy the works of the devil. Therefore, we can be assured that our help is in the finished works of Jesus Christ on The Cross. It is through Jesus Christ that our deliverance is obtained, and we can have confidence in knowing that He will deliver us of every evil and malicious work of The Narcissist.

Deliverance from the Narcissist begins with knowing the truth. The Bible tells us in John 8:31-32 “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” The level of deliverance needed after Narcissistic Abuse depends on the depth of the damage done by the Narcissist. The depth of the damage emotionally, mentally, financially and spiritually will need to be healed and restored.

Although restoration will be needed in various areas the source of our healing remains the same. It is through the Blood of Jesus Christ, the finished works of The Cross and the truth of The Word of God that healing from Narcissistic Abuse will be obtained. This explains why the goal of the Narcissist (particularly the Spiritual Narcissist) is to turn you away from the faith.
