Salvation

The most important decision that I have ever made in my life was accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  He has carried me through the many tough and trying times in my life and I truly cannot imagine living my life without having a relationship with Him.  I can say without hesitation that Jesus has bought me through and out of toxic relationships with narcissists.  These relationships have not only been with romantic partners but they have been with family members as well.  Closing the door to all abusive relationships with narcissists in my life has giving me peace and allowed me to honor myself in ways that I could not have imagined.

Through Jesus Christ, I have found the strength necessary to shut the door to Narcissistic Abuse and honor the woman I was created to be.   Jesus has set me free from the bondage of Narcissistic Abuse in my life and He has taught me a wealth of knowledge along the way.  I am beyond grateful for what He has done in my life.  If you desire a relationship with Him I cannot think of a better decision you could ever make in your lifetime.

God has instructed us through His word pertaining to our salvation and there’s a few simple steps that we need to take.  You need to have a willing heart.  Romans 10 : 8 – 13 says, “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Dear Lord,

I thank You for the gift of salvation.  I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that God raised you from the dead.  I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I ask for You to come into my life and save me.

In Jesus’ Name

Amen

If you have sincerely prayed this prayer, congratulations!  You are now a new creation according to 2 Corinthians 5: 17-20.  Salvation is immediate, however, becoming more like Christ is a process that will take time.  While on this journey I recommend becoming a part of a growing community of believers.  The process of finding a Church that is right for you is pretty important, so ask God to lead you.
